He joins on a season-long loan, with an option to make the deal permanent
French giants, Paris Saint-Germain have added another star name to their squad following the signing of highly sought-after teenager, Kylian Mbappe.
Currently with the French national team to face the Netherlands on Thursday night and Luxembourg on Sunday, September 3, Mbappe was happy to sign for PSG.
‘It is with great joy and pride that I join the Paris Saint-Germain,’ he said, adding, ‘I was seduced by the project of the club, it is one of the most ambitious in Europe.’
The 18-year-old joins PSG on a season-long loan from AS Monaco, with an option to make the deal permanent at the loan spell’s end.
And should PSG exercise that option, which is likely, the £160m to be paid would make Mbappe the second most expensive player ever.
Mbappe’s signing comes weeks after PSG paid a world-record £198m for Neymar from Barcelona.
