Popular Nigerian comedian, Seyi Law has confessed that he has been going through tough times.
Revealing this on his Instagram page, the comedian opened up saying the people and brands he has worked for, seem to have abandoned him. He also talked about how he travelled out for shows but made very little and then contemplated selling his properties to make ends meet as his home was shaky but despite all, he was able to purchase a new house.
Stand up comedy came to be a lucrative business in Nigeria in the early 2000s and has since become a part of the entertainment industry seem many fast-rising talents.
Though popularly known for stand-up comedy, Seyi Law is also a lawyer, compere, events planner and television host. He has also featured in several international comedy shows.
Seyi Law rose to fame in 2006 after he won the AY open mic comedy challenge competition. In June this year, he hosted his annual comedy shoe-Seyi Law, Fast & Funny with other top Nigerian comedians as co-hosts.
