The BET 2018  Best International Artist award winner in a series of tweets hours ago insinuated that the decision to refuse him usage of the venue for his annual end of year showcase was politically motivated because of his allegiance to Nigeria’s main opposition party, the PDP, which he supported and campaigned vigorously for during the September governorship election in Osun State with his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke as flagbearer.

The singer in his tweet said he wondered why his request would be rejected but that he can’t be stopped as he was going to announce a new venue soon.

Davido also bragged that whoever was behind his ordeal cannot do more than that and also reaffirmed his continued support for the PDP, saying he would never switch sides over a venue.
