Following the death of the legendary thespian, Baba Sala, a few Nollywood celebrities have taken to their social media pages to mourn his demise.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Adebayo Salami widely known as Oga Bello, in the early hours of yesterday morning wrote: ‘The news of your demise came to me as a shock. No matter how old good people grow, we still don’t want them to die. Yet, death is an integral part of the existence cycle.’

 

Describing him as one of the greatest comedians that ever lived, Saidi Balogun wrote: ‘RIP Moses Olaiya Adejumo, aka BABA SALA. He was one of the best comedians that ever lived. One of the greatest legends of our time.’

In the same vein, Nollywood actress, Ronke Oshodi Oke wrote:Good night baba mi, Legend is gone The king of comedy.’
