Following the backlash received since the release of Lifetime’s Surviving Rkelly docuseries, R. Kelly is currently ‘feeling the heat’ which has led to the embattled singer suffering panic attacks severe enough to require medical attention.
Sources close Kelly told TMZ that the panic attacks started days leading up to the airing of controversial documentary last week. This is also coming as law enforcement in Georgia are reportedly launching an investigation into the allegations made against the famed RnB star.
TMZ reports that Kelly has had doctors make house visits as the 6 part episodes triggered an overwhelming backlash from the public and even his industry colleagues who called out is behaviour as unacceptable and offered their support to his accusers.
Kelly looked unscattered during his 52 birthday party on Wednesday night, but sources say the singer is looking for reasons to get out of his house and doesn’t want to seem like he’s hiding because he still believes he’s done nothing wrong.
The singer’s daughter Joann Lee Kelly is the latest close family member to castigate him for his actions, calling him a ‘monster’ while offering prayers for the families and women who are his alleged victims.
