American rapper and G.O.O.D Music Boss, Kanye West wore his controversial MAGA hat today as he was hosted to lunch on Thursday afternoon by United States President, Donald Trump where both men had discussions bothering on North Korea, bipolar disorder, criminal justice among other topics.
The musician and father of 3 arrived at the Oval Office at about 16:00hrs with a handful of reporters present at the meeting where he ranted about a number of ideas to including crediting the Trump for stopping a violent conflict between the U.S. and North Korea.
During the meeting, YE also raised concerns about Trump’s supported “stop and frisk” policies which allowed police to detain and search people for weapons and contraband at random and how actions as such affect relationships between civilians and police. Trump reportedly responded that he was open to changing his mind about the policy which is widely believed to be against African-Americans, especially young males.
Kanye also doubled down on his suggestion to “abolish” the 13th Amendment while spewing his wild thoughts.
“It’s more important than any specific deal that we bring jobs into America and that we provide a transition with mental health and the Amer-I-Can education curriculum … There’s a lot of things affecting our mental health that make us do crazy things that puts us back into that trap door called the 13th Amendment.
“I did say abolish with the hat on because why would you build something with trap door?” Kanye asked. “What I think is: We don’t need sentences. We need pardons,” West added.
The Chicago born star also explained why the MAGA hat is like a “Superman cape” to him, speaking on what made him back Trump rather than Hillary Clinton and why popular TV show Saturday Night Live and liberals need to make Trump “look good.”
“This is our president,” he says. “He has to be the freshest. The flyest.”
West also accused black communities of perpetuating violence among themselves stating that black people, needed to take responsibility for their actions. “We kill each other more than police officers,” West said.
Trump praised the musician and called him a “smart cookie” saying West could serve as a political surrogate for him any time he wants.
At the end of the meeting, Kanye West got up from his seat and said he loved Trump before walking over to give the President a hug.
